| Wow - I almost forgot about this site - I've been soooo busy with the new character adoption site that I haven't had time to do anything else. And I'm having to move my homepage to geocities because homestead is going to start charging for space - and I've been writing a new fan fiction - and I found a new forum to read and a new email list to join - I've been a busy little bee.
So I guess that means I'll have a lot to talk about. The new Antia site is going good - actually haven't added anything new to it in a couple of weeks (shame on me) been gathering a lot of info for it though. The character adoption site is a collaboration between me and a friend and it has quickly become a very popular site. It's been up since the 9th - we put a counter on last week and withing a matter of a couple of days it was over 200!!!
Work's going ok - though I applied the other day with the Civil Service COmmission to try to get a job as a police dispatcher in the fall. Keeping my fingers cross - ther pay good money and good benefits.
Me and my friend here in Columbus ddecided on our Halloween costumes a little while ago. We were in the fabric store and I saw a new Simplicity pattern - Elizabethan with a high collar - they were calling it the Queen of Hearts. Smeone had suggested my friend go as Evil Alice from the computer game. So we decided to try and get a bunch of our uddies together and do the whole cartoon movie cast. I am going to be the Queen of Hearts, Tona will be Alice, our friend Jeremy agreed to be the Mad Hatter, and our friend Scotty loved the idea of being the Catapiller. We can't wait to get started on our costumes. It's all so exciting. Everyone is trying to get their friends to be other characters. And we're going to try to decorate a section of the bar we will be at (the one we always go to) as the tea party scene. We'll try t get the bartenders to play along, get the dj to play some alice clips, maybe play the movie on the vcr in the bakground (it's wonderful to know everyone who works at the bar - makes it easier to get what you want). I'm going to get a flamingo to go with my costume. We'll definitely take lots of pictures of this entire process - probly make a web page out of it all. The catapiller will be the most extravagant - he's going to make a mushroon skirt and make a tail for himself so it's the catapiller sitting on te mushroom smokin a bowl :) Will keep you all up to date on how it's going. Please leave comments and suggestions - we need lots of input and brainstorming ideas. Anyone in the Columbus OH area can join us too - we're a fun loving group. :)
Well I guess that's all I ahve to say for now - got some forums to go read. Tata for now.
| Slack, slack, slack. That's all I've been doing lately. I've been so busy building my new Antia Blake site and moving it to server that cooperates that I haven't had time to write anything here. It's a really cool site though. Even if you've never heard of the books this site might want to make you read them. http://www.geocities.com/zeeque76/ Been working on my cast list for the past few days. Looking at all sorts of interesting pictures of celebrities on the web. It's been a long process but it's a labor of love.

| I'm a slacker lately - been busy making a new web site - my very own Anita Blake page. I've been spending every waking moment on it. http://zeeque76.homestead.com/
Got some pictures developed today at work - I'm so happy wiht them - but I hate that I can't share them right now because of the scanner problem. The picsw I took at the cemetary up here turned out so beautifull - the light stones against a practically white sky is amazing. I already have a favorite that I'm dying to share.
Had a good day at work - probly cause it was a short day for me :) but I sold a big camera outfit first off. Talked a lady into buying a Canon Rebel - I love mine so that's what I showed her and we talked her into the premier thingy which included a tripod and more warranty and some other neat stuff. I jsut have to keep my fingers crossed that her husband likes it and doesn't bring it back - but if he does maybe I can sell him what he wants and still get the commission - it's like $30 for what I sold her today.
First payday was today - I sigh in relief that the $$ is coming in again - another couple of weeks and I can start paying my bills again. Luckily none of the companies have my new number so I'm not getting bothered by them :)
Well I'm off to finish dinner and work on my Anita page some more. Please go visit, sign the guest book, and don't forget to vote for me on the top 30 sites link on the page.
| Long time no post - been busy learning the new job and batteling with their new computer system. It's working better now and I think it's improving my typing speed :-). Every day I stand and drool over all the camera equipment - as soon as I get a lto fo extra money I'm going to invest in a black and white enlarger so that I can do my own black and white prints - considering selling some too. So in several months I should be up and running and have lots of new stuff to post.
For now though.....

I love this picture for the way the sun fell on it. I didn't know how well it was going to turn out when i took it, I just thought it was a nice statue so i had a nice surprise when the pics came back. It was late afternoon so it was the setting sun.
That's all for now. | | |
| Recently a guy took me on a photo trip to a cemetary. While I was finding a good angle on a statue he said that I should take it from this other angle so that you can't see the chipped wing. What the f*ck??!! I could care less if the statue was just a pile of ruble - if I like the way it looks I'm going to take a picture of it because it's about art not statue quality! This comment really disturbed me and I had forgotten about it until jsut now when I was thinking of some more pictures to post. Some of the most interesting photos I've taken of been of headless, armless, or chipped wing statues and angels. I think it is part of their charm, of what they are. Like in my previous post the angel was missing an arm from about the elbow down. I don't think the picture would have had the same effect on me if she had been perfect.
So today's (or later today's) study is of damages statues and the beauty they hold.
I have another shot of this statue but due to scanner problems it is not uploaded. There is an almost identical statue right next to this one but up more, and I have a pic of the two of them together.
I couldn't find any other damaged pictures but I know I have some on an undeveloped role taken up here. I have a weakness for little statues and have a collection of statues that are shorter than me. My absolute favorite is this one.

I had to lay completely on the ground to get this one - it was less than a foot tall. It was jsut sitting all alone - not on a grave but near my favorite giant angel, but on a later visit it was missing.
